Prewriting for Literacy Narrative:
These are my Pre-writing prompts from September 2oth, 2016. I used the timeline, cluster, and webbing. The webbing one I did first to just get use to a prewriting activity because I have never really used these techniques before. Then I used the timeline to help remember what happened throughout the year with reading and writing. Lastly I used the cluster to help figure out some details about my favorite reading place. I used these prewriting activities to construct my first draft.
Pre Writing for Secondary Discourse:
For this prewriting activity I used an outline format with color coding. I used the color orange for the topic I wanted to present, purple for Deplit, and pink for Gee. When I was looking for quote I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to used yet, so I found sections that would support my claim instead. I had to go back and reread both article in order to find the information I wanted to use for this paper.
