In Lindsay’s essay she had a lot of good information it just wasn’t displayed correctly. While reviewing the prompt I noticed she didn’t have many methods in the paper, so I tried to lead her in the right direction with commenting what I thought the prompt was asking. I do think that I helped Lindsay with my revising I do think I should of added the category for my comments. I should have but my comments into a category to help both her and I know what the comment it referring too.
During my peer review with Sky I was able to understand her thoughts on what Gee was saying throughout his article. I had a bit of a hard time finding her main point, but when I did I commented on it so she knew what I thought as a reader was her main point. I also mentioned some techniques she could use more of like the formulas we talked about in class, or analyzing some things more. I also gave a lot of advice on her claim because it was unclear to me . I asked if maybe she could explain more clear by explaining in a thesis so the reader is introduced to it previously. My main question for Sky was how is it that primary discourses are used to advance further, is it due to teamwork, or is the difference between the discourse can be accept into society? She talks about it allowing someone to advance but doesn’t explain how so that was my main question throughout. I do think that me not putting all of my comments into a category could have effected her revising, but its something I am working on for the future.
